I was born in Cagliari, Sardinia and I’ve been living in London since 1998. I was born with the desire to tell stories, and did this in my writing and drawing. Later on I discovered film and photography and included these mediums in my storytelling.
After a long year studying law in Italy I came to London to study cinema and I never left!
I graduated at Birkbeck College, University of London with a BA in Film and Media, I worked as a Clip Researcher for the BBC and on a variety of films and music videos as a Script Supervisor, Production Assistant and Assistant Director. In 2006 I wrote, co-produced and directed my first short film THE LAST STOP, which was shown at Cannes Festival 2006’s Short Film Corner, the Portobello Film Festival (Winter Programme 2006) and Deptford Art and Design Festival (2007).
At present I am working as a freelance journalist both in Italian and English and I am working as a freelance filmmaker (Producer and Production Assistant). I am also currently adapting Vincenzo Saldì’s short story FAME DI SONNO into a feature.
